You don't mean GOD TOLD ME TO (a.k.a. DEMON)? A brilliant score, and a suite appeared on LP on the Phoenix label (coupled with RING OF BRIGHT WATER). (Bernard Herrmann was the original choice, but his death intervened.) |

This and TAXI DRIVER were dedicated to Herrmann - surely that counts for something. The dvd had a 5.1 audio track (music/effects and dialog separated) which might mean the music alone is available. And with an impending blu-ray, this would be a timely release. I love T.Newman Fan's Halloween suggestion of releasing it with Melle's SENTINEL. Perfect pairing, short of adding a Herrmann score like ITS ALIVE (but already released). |

apparently there were two scores expected for Halloween and you suggested both titles, adding: "It is safe to say that it's not going to happen, but that is a dream combo for me." I took the combo part literally, that they would be part of the same release. |
