Yep Gary Chang is under-reprisented composer.

As you all know I'm a :roll: "Chuck-aholic" :roll: and would buy FIREWALKER in a heartbeat.

But I must admit FIREWALKER is my least favourite Chang soundtrack.
The only theme on that score that does it for me is "Leo Disappear".
Nice little tune for Louis Gossett's charachter.

52 Pick-Up is a much better score, alittle more melody and themes.

My most awaited unreleased Gary Chang score goes to 1996 THE SUBSTITUTE starring Tom Berenger, it sounds alot like the Main Theme to Under Siege.
And ofcourse the 1993 Mario Van Pebbles werewolfs-on-steroids classic FULL ECLIPSE. :lol:



But both FIREWALKER & 52 PICK-UP would be most welcome. :D

I'd buy it - Chang has done some nice stuff, some dreadful stuff, some plagaristic stuff.....his score for A SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM was one of the very first cd's I bought, a true underrated forgotten gem of a score.

Yes, 52 pick-up is a great score from the 80's, i'm interested!
I also like the jungle-atmospheric score for 'Sniper' (1992).
I don't know the other movies members talked about before in this thread,
but sure those are excellent too... 8)

I saw the movie ,and i like the movie and the original score by Gary Chang....
It's a very good pure 80's atmophere ...
I saw that varese sarabande will release the LP score to CD for may 2016!
But it's not a complete score ...Maybe a new complete cannon film score for INTRADA RECORDS in the futur ?
I love really this 80's score by Gary Chang
