Will these three great albums ever see the light of day on CD?

I hope so. My LP rip is messed up. But they are fantastic recordings, with many themes that noone except maybe Silva has otherwise recorded.

It's curious that only highlights of these inestimable recordings have been issued on CD (i.e. from the Memoir label).
Is it possible that Dr Rozsa recorded material for the Polydor series which wasn't released (as with Charles Gerhardt on the RCA Classic Film Score series)?
One can only hope it all sees the laser light of day...

Well I wonder. Eloquence Australia recently put out some film stuff from Decca - the Rozsa Ben Hur/Quo Vadis, the Herrmann conducts Herrmann stuff, and something called "Cinema Spectacular" which has a bunch of stuff. I know they've reissued DG stuff as well, so maybe there's hope on that front.

Almost a decade since this request was initiated, but still no sign of a CD edition! I wonder if anyone has checked Universal Music's vaults in Japan yet? (A search there yielded master tapes for the long lost JOHN BARRY AMERICANS album.)

Roger knows where and how to look for this stuff if it exists at all. The last we heard not too long ago is that this project is a "little tricky," so there is certainly some glimmer of hope.
