Van Helsing was actually a pretty cool movie, and the score is awesome! Alan has created a gothic sound that I had never heard before and since !

Lilo and Stitch all the way! Its arguably one of Silvestri's best, I can never get Stitch's galloping theme out of my head! I don't care how long it takes but my life would be complete if the complete score ever saw the light of day

Would gladly pay for a Intrada edition of Who Framed Roger Rabbit with the complete score, songs, demos, and the works!

We Silvestri fans have been incredibly blessed by the labels recently with the releases of The Abyss (2CD), Predator 2 (2CD), Judge Dredd (2CD) (3 of the greatest Silvestri's works ever), Fandango, Critical Condition/Summer Rental, Oveboard, Mac & Me, The Bodyguard, Blown Away, Clean Slate, The Perez Family, A Christmas Carol...

And now Cat's Eye... It's an incredible time to be a fan of Silvestri's music. I remember a time when the only solution to listen to Predator was to put the VHS in the VCR, when Back to the Future was only a simple 2 score tracks album, when you had to use your dad's sound system to listen to a 80's obscure Silvestri score on LP, and when the only way to listen to a major 90's Silvestri score was to give a spin to a 30 minutes or so CD...
Now is a better time to appreciate Silvestri's unique and magnificent music.

Great times indeed. Predator 2 deluxe sounds a lot better than the original flat sounding disc (the same applies to the deluxe edition of Goldsmith's Gremlins 2). Judge Dredd and Cat's Eye were pleasant surprises.

As spoiled as we are now, I have a feeling that we Silvestri fans have quite a bit more ahead.

For the last 5 years, we only have seen releases of expanded Alan Silvestri scores ( and great ones like Roger Rabbit, Back to the future II & III, The Mummy Returns, etc) but no new unreleased scores from the list above. That's sad, because Alan Silvestri is truly the best artist composing for film today, and the most sucessful, according to recent box-office hits like The Avengers movies and Ready Player One. Please, bring us American Anthem, My Stepmother is an Alien, Super Mario Bros., Lilo & Stitch, both Stuart Little movies or The Polar Express ! ^^
