It's been a great time for being a soundtrack fan

Gremlins is now my only highly desired Jerry Goldsmith release.

We have been bombarded with so much of his work, but I cannot think of more than a few other composers who deserve this kind of treatment. The funny thing is that I find myself buying his scores that I wasn't interested in when seeing the associated films (mostly his 90s output in particular), but I've grown a newfound appreciation when listening to the albums.

Well I'll say it again. Those elusive Flint albums, still no release. I understand Jerry Goldsmith is popular, isn't he? A re-release of The Sand Pebbles, which would be in the top three of any sensible Goldsmith top ten. Sebastian, does anyone know anything about a release of this?

I miss The list of Adrian Messenger, The trouble with angels, Lilies of the field, The red pony, The swarm, Capricorn one, The challenge, Psycho 2, Gremlins, Warlock, The burb's, Leviathan, The shadow, Powder, Mulan, and ..... I think, that's all folks.

It's been a while since I saw The Shadow. I will have to rent the dvd to listen to the music. With my luck when I do rent the movie it will be on my local cable station or AMC

We can all agree that Gremlins is the last unreleased GREAT holy grail. The questions are : who ? when ?
Anyway, it must have been really hard to get the rights for that title. Who would have thought we'd have Alien, Explorers, Innerspace, The Burbs or even an expanded First Blood, Bad Girls, First Knight and Star Trek V, long before we have Gremlins ? I guess we'll have an incredible story behind the scenes of this unique release !
