SAE accidently, earlier this year, or late last year, announced on their Facebnook page about "Gremlins", which annoyed Lukas.

My true only holy grail score for Goldsmith would have to be AIR FORCE ONE! Its one of his best action scores.A 2cd complete edition including Joel Mcneelys rejected score would be snapped up by me(and im sure by all Goldsmith fans) in a second!

Joel McNeely's score wasn't rejected. It was an additional score, it contains the Goldsmith theme and it's in the picture. Randy Newman had a (fantastic) rejected score for that movie.

As I recall, AF1 was one of the scores MV mentioned a couplke or so months ago, in a small list -- not a complete list -- of titles not possible, because Varese owns the rights in perpetuity.

Thanksfully Varese doesn't keep the rights, or can't keep the rights, to all titles, so some are avaiable for liscense; take, for example, "Predator" and "Jake Speed".

For what it's worth: According to their Twilight Time will be releasing OUR MAN FLINT January 15, 2013 on BD with IN LIKE FLINT following February 12, 2013. [From Twitter: "Pre-orders for our Jan titles, Our Man Flint and Experiment in Terror, go live Wed December 19th at 4 pm EST. Only at http://www.screenarchives.com"] And according to this (at least) the first comes with an isolated score track ...

So is there a Goldsmith-Flint-Doubleheader in the works?

Only the LP content is possible; over at FSM sadly they have pointed out Varese owns the rights to the original recordings, so only they go do those.
