Like you did for Spellbound (I have not watched everything yet), would it be possible for you to film and/or take pictures of the different stages of the production of a CD and post the videos/photos on release day?
For instance, you could show:
- a trip in one of the vaults-- just seeing how everything is stored would be cool
- what exactly do all those tapes look like? half-inch, half-inch tree-track, 24-track masters, '50's or '70's, ... silly as it may seem, I would like to see exactly what they look like, how large they may be, ...
- a before/after comparison of remastered elements
- how the remastering is done
- the design phase (Joe's ideas, alternate designs, ...)
...
No need for a professional documentary by a dedicated crew; anyone can snap a shot and film a few minutes, and this would be great.
