There is also score un-used score for each film. I think if you put your money aside, one day you'll be able to spend it.

The situation : The Back to the Future Trilogy compilation was made to compensate the lack of a true score edition. It's very hard to buy the rights, owned by MCA, in order to release a new album without the successful songs by Huey Lewis. No one took the risk, including me. The BACK TO THE FUTURE Part II album was a selling failure, rectified by the third episode which was helped by ZZ Top. So we are trapped, because if this album ever sees the light of day, it will be destined to a small group of passionate people, like with the recent ROMANCING THE STONE limited edition, and it won’t satisfy the commercial obligations. Hopefully this will be possible soon, as Universal is starting to open their vaults. Problem being, can Intrada afford to license the Huey Lewis songs? |

It's not like Huey Lewis and The News have been racking up the hits since then...  Seriously though, I wouldn't mind too much if the score album, when (not if, when - let's think positive) it comes, includes the songs; at least they were actually written for the film!
