While we're at it, I hope you guys (HENRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) know what an f'ing missed
masterpiece (well, not that missed, since it sold out) GLORIA is.....the themes,
the orchestration, the action/dramatic cue ratio, the soloists, the outlandish
orchestra (what was it, 18 clarinets???), the heartbreaking finale - the mrs. introduced me to this one, I expected some faux-latino Conti jazz, and still am floored by this, what a beautiful,
amazing, entertaining, versatile score - even some Steve Reich-ish moments in the
late chase cues in the score with marimba/minimalist patterns.

Do yourself a favor, rent the movie (if you can???), spend some dough to get the sold out
CD, and you'll be a happy camper.....

Oh, and someone should release THE FOURTH WAR while you at it with this Conti business, it's
the dogs bollocks....

Back in October 2008, I made three videos of score, ripped from the 3-hour pilot of "Dynasty" and put them up on YouTube.

Checking the hits, today I noticed for Suite 1:

"Views: 22,538"

So ..... when are we gonna get this on CDs?

I still think GOTCHA! Would be an excellent release (perhaps 2 disc...with song and score separated this time around).

I watched Five Days from Home a few weeks ago on YouTube. The score features more of Conti's awesome rhythmic sensibilities. There are some really good soft melodies as well. I'd be first in line to buy an album of that.

There was an LP released on the MCA label, so Intrada could probably at least get access to the album master through UMG.

BABY BOOM was on last night and man that has a great score, and song by Conti. Unfortunatelly a few years ago Roger said there are missing reels. Roger, if you read this do you have any updates on BABY BOOM?

So, Intrada delivered the goods with Bad Boys and Five Days from Home. Music Box announced The Fourth War and La-La Land has I, the Jury covered. All prime choices from Conti's oeuvre.
