Larry, to your terrific list, I would also add John Williams The Rare Breed, which is one of my favorite early Williams scores. Great stuff!

Haven't seen Rare Breed in a while and don't remember the music well, having not watched it in that context but given the Cowboys, I'm sure you're suggestion's a good one.

Its not like the Cowboys. There's a rather long suite on Silva's "Essential John Williams Film Music Collection", and a shorter version of that suite on Silva's "John Williams: 40 Years of Film Music"

With the recent Frank DeVol releases, how about Krakatoa, East of Java, along with the original - and awesome - poster art for the cover? I'd buy that in a heartbeat.
