Intrada kicks off the New Year with a 2-CD expansion of an adventure score from the early '90s.

Could it be at last the so much anticipated Michael Kamen's ROBIN HOOD, PRINCE OF THIEVES? :D

If it is then Doug's (or Roger's) clue a while back about an upcoming title not including the hit song could mean Bryan Adam's song won't be in it much like Celine Dion's TITANIC song.

Perhaps Conti's Adventures of Huck Finn. Or Kamen's Three Musketeers. Or Kamen's Robin Hood. Or something. Or something else. Or something other than something else.

If it is Huck Finn by Billy C., I will be obligated to have words with Feigelson about releasing it before Blood In, Blood Out.

Definitely sounds like a Michael Kamen score for sure so either Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves or The Three Musketeers is definitely welcomed and long overdue.

Varese still has both Adventures of Huck Finn and Christopher Columbus The Discovery in purpituity so definitely not.

Oh I truly hope so, we haven't had a Kamen release from Intrada since 2015 with Adventures In Babysitting.
And I agree both above titles mentioned would definitely be most welcome, especially Prince of Thieves.

That's just their hope springing eternal. (It's valuable for getting through life.)

Most likely a stab in the dark but how about Free Willy as a contender.

I really look forward to the day we have an expanded release of Free Willy, and while we’re at it, how about Basil’s complete score to Serial Mom. :)

Well that wouldn't need two discs, unless Intrada decided to include the entire original album with songs on a separate disc. (I hope not!)

I thought that about a few titles that Varese continued to sell on iTunes, but were later released on CD by another label. Their hold on rights is not so clear-cut in some cases.

I do thank Lokutus for mentioning the Eidelman score. I hadn't heard it before, but will soon buy the existing album. See, these threads can be useful in some way.

Only Entertainment lawyers know more about this stuff so they would have the final say. As far as it has been stated, Varese has owned or owned the releases starting from 1990 till now...so they can probably tell you straight out, digitally or physically.
