Roger Fiegelson responded to query about a Golden Age release on FSM forum that:

"Oh don’t worry. Golden Agers will be delighted with the four cd set we have coming in December"

But is it any good? It sure would be if it's Thriller.

Thriller was 1960 onwards so that would be silver age. I guess it all depends when you consider the golden age ended and the silver began!

Could it be a Rozsa set?

Well Rozsa at MGM and Rozsa at Paramount are supposedly exhausted, unless something previously thought lost has been discovered. But maybe Rozsa at Universal could be four discs if it included an expanded A Time to Love and A Time to Die?

But I'll be surprised -- though pleasantly -- if it's that. Could it be a Golden Age TV show? I'd be all over four discs of Disney's Zorro!

The Silver Age began on July 11, 1962 at 7:32 PM.

Unfortunately, four discs is too many for the legendary Rózsa Polydor LPs. However, it is not too many for the Frank Skinner Decca albums that Roger acknowledged looking into years ago.

The 3 Rozsa Polydor cds would be divine but If they could manage it with another LP program?

I can't think of anything that makes particular sense to include.

I would definitely buy the aforementioned Frank Skinner set if released. If I recall correctly, there are 8 solid Decca albums that would work perfectly for 2 albums per disc. Roger said years ago that the label is determined to get the albums out eventually, but the combination of more popular titles and those garbage Disques Cinémusique boots put a damper on the effort.

If it's Rozsa, I hope it would be King of Kings. The Rhino release has been out of print for some time.

King Of The Kings was a 2CD release in 2002, not 4CD. It could the "TITANIC 20th Anniversary Edition" including the entire original film version score which was never released before.

To me personally i would like to see a 4CD set of Bill Contis ROCKY. I, II, III on 3 CDs, V and BALBOA on CD 4 :)

PS: Oh no, i see it now. Titanic was not the golden age, but for the millenials, it was.

There are clues about the Golden Age 4-CD set in the 'Dec 5th Releases' thread.
