Two scores, one CD. Both straight LP reissues. Both from the 60s. One is a Western and it's premiere release on CD from the 8-track LP master. Sorry, original film recording sessions are long lost. Second was released on CD not too long ago as part of large set I thought, but I can't seem to find it. So this may or may not be a premiere.

Could the western be Shenandoah?

I'm thinking it's Nevada Smith.

Was released on a Tsunami CD in Germany but that may not be counted here. MV did say earlier this year that it was happening in some form - he didn't identify the label so could very well be Nevada Smith.

I'm hoping it's not NEVADA SMITH, as I would be extremely disappointed to learn there's no hope for those film tracks to emerge someday. (But if that's the case, I'll live.)

Please, please, please be MacKenna's Gold. I'm so desperate to have that score in any great sounding form that I no longer care about having the original film recordings.

Tsunami CDs never count. I'll just leave it at that.

I'm curious as to what set you are referencing. Is it the Quincy Jones set released by Universal France? If so, I can assure you that it does exist and that all of the advertised albums are accounted for. Although, there are some extra soundtracks that are only represented as one or two tracks on the bonus disc.
