I sure hope so. If it is, I know Intrada will give us THE TEN COMMANDMENTS as to make me and others realize it was worth the long wait. We waited maybe 5 years. The children of Israel wandered the wilderness for 40 years before reaching the Promised Land.

Yes Monte, it sure sounds like THE TEN COMMANDMENTS! :D

If we waited 5 years, then we saved 35 years! :D

If it's really The Ten Commandments at last, EVERYBODY better damn well start saving, not just Golden Agers. One of the greatest scores ever written.

I don't care how much, I just care if it's all in stereo or not.
(Though I'm pretty sure it won't be, so how much won't matter....)

Obviously no sat navs in those days, but 40 years! Must have been a lot of walking around in circles, "I think I've seen that sand dune before"

No saving, my money is ready & burning a hole in my pocket.

That's what happens when you start having doubts and you fashion a golden calf to worship.

Indeed it is, Yavar. The first movie score to make me realize the power of film music in a movie. Three years before that other masterpiece, BEN-HUR. I hope there will be young and old alike who will support this wonderful release from Intrada.

Yes Monte, if it is THE TEN COMMANDMENTS then I too hope ALL film music fans, young and old, will buy this fantastic release! :)

I too saw the film when it came out. I was only 10 but the music greatly impressed me even then!

Price point guess $35 or $39.95

and, at least, must be a 4CD set.

that price point guess seems way off. I doubt Roger said to start saving an extra 10.00 - 15.00

I'm guessing $99.99 Then again I really don't know how many discs this set will be.

I think I am ready for it... no matter what the set is for. :)

I'd be shocked and amazed if it isn't.
