WoW! Another iconic and historical impending release by Intrada. You guys have ostensibly taken the crown for 'BEST LABEL OF THE YEAR' yet again!

That is all.

Excuse me, I misspoke. That is not all.

This is beyond wonderful. With the Back to the Future trilogy complete and soon the Jaws series as well, some of the most popular and most requested film music, from arguably the most dynamic, interesting and fun period of film scoring over the last fifty years, is suddenly very available.

What a way to celebrate not one, not two, but three anniversaries this year. Much love and thanks to Intrada and Universal for making dreams come true. I'm stoked.

I keep toying with the idea of Cannonball Run. I haunted record stores for a few years back in the early 80s looking for it. No Internet then, so no idea there was a Japanese LP. I just don't know how well it would sell. Great title song though. Comedies are just tough.

Roger,

Well there is only one way to find out I guess. (available while quantities and interest remain!)
A Cannonball Run release would be a lot of fun & maybe even pair it with the sequel or Stroker Ace.
Also adding the great title song as you mentioned, now that would be a treat (with/without dialogue)

In the meantime I'm very much looking forward to the upcoming release of Jaws.

I'd get a plane to Oakland and hug you if you could put out Smokey and the Bandit.

filmsonwax, you mean you wouldn't jump in a Trans-Am & go Eastbound and Down.
A Smokey and the Bandit release would be awesome too
In tribute to Hal Needham.
