This late 70s comedy...adventure...drama -- whatever you want to call it -- features a brilliant young actress. One of the few child stars who was brilliant when they were a kid and successfully made the transition to adult actress, who still acts and often stars in films today. And this album has one of the most addicting main titles of all time.

Candleshoe? If so, I wish you were selling it right now. :D

Although, I don't think Jodie Foster has been acting much lately.

Candleshoe was what I was thinking as well.

Might we expect second release on Mon/Tues...?

It was mentioned elsewhere that there will be one album for next week.

Candleshoe, and any other currently unreleased Ron Goodwin at Disney score, has the value of at least five normal releases for me. The kind of stuff that soundtrack albums are truly made for.

Maybe that Goodwin Dinosaur thingy everyone is lusting after. I'll buy one just because I keep seeing it pop up, no idea what the film or score sound like...

I agree. "Candleshoe" by Ron Goodwin is worth 5 holy grails.

CANDLESHOE is a grail, alright.

Nice timing right after the 30th Anniversary Celebration.

Infectious funk & British pomp all rolled into one cool score!

It doesn't have a young child star who made it as an adult actress, so it's not Dinosaurs.

Starting to give up on it appearing tbh!

I'm sure it will be released not that long from now.

I think that most people who like Goodwin's Dinosaurs score would also very much enjoy Candleshoe. Not everybody, but most.

Of Goodwin's Disney scores, Unidentified Flying Oddball would probably attract the biggest group of buyers.

Oh I know, no Dinos this round, I just was implying it may be coming in a near future release, based on
some of the chatter here, that's all! We're so lucky Intrada really got "in" at Disney, some great stuff coming
out of there - and having Randy Thornton's support. That guy is an uber fan - did you read the notes for The Black Hole? Talk about going to Hades and back to make a soundtrack cd.....great, great stuff.

Randy Thornton is the best thing that ever happened to Walt Disney Records.

So we release our first Ron Goodwin/Disney score and whereas most people would take that as a positive sign, you choose that moment to give up? So very odd.

Yeah, plus you and/or Doug have repeatedly commented on doing Ron Goodwin Disney scores (plural) in the past, so why anyone would think you'd stop at Candleshoe I have no idea. Thanks for championing his stuff -- you really picked up the Goodwin baton after FSM stopped. I really love your release of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight in particular!
