One is a golden age release and if you've been paying attention or picked up our last one you'll know what it is.

The second is an expanded reissue of an early 90s Intrada release. Outdoors adventure score with now more than double the length of the first release which ran just about 30 minutes.

I suppose the second title is Homeward Bound, which would be interesting as I played that album just a couple of days ago and it was numerous years since I had previously listened to it.

And the first would be Rosza's Desert Fury.

That was easy.

Hopefully there's a 2 of 4 coming soon :)

Wow! If it's Miklos Rozsa's Desert Fury we'll be ordering it, won't we PFK?!

I have forgotten this movie even exists. I remember when it came out, but I've never seen it, nor heard even a snippet of its score, and have not thought about it since its release. But the score was composed by Bruce Broughton, so that's by now all I need to know for me to pick this one up and catch up.

I second this! And another 3 of 4 (Psycho III).

It's a strong score on album with a great sound. I would not be surprised if there's a good amount of excellent material that couldn't be included on the original release, because of the obvious cost limitations at the time.

I certainly hope the second one is Homeward Bound, I have been craving for some more Broughton lately. And if memory serves me correctly, this was the first Broughton score I heard in a movie, like ever. So it'll be fun to revisit this timeless classic. ^^

As for the first one, I'm not familiar with golden age scores, so it'll be a real treat to discover some unearthed goodies. :)
