Thank you Intrada for the upcoming 3/4 release! Being a massive Jaws fan it's what I've been waiting for for many years. I've really enjoyed 4/4 and I cannot wait for the next one. Especially the 2nd disc!

I disagree that Jaws 2 only needs a re-release. The Varese release is exceptional and a great listening experience. However I for one, as a fan of not only Jaws 2, but John Williams and movie music think this deserves a full release. There are many great queues in the movie that are not present in the Varese release, also variants on the tracks compared to what we hear in the movie. If this great score ever gets a proper release I hope it's the full movie version. As I've said it's a great listening experience but I'd prefer the queues on their own rather than mixed which is what the original Jaws 2 album did. I suppose it would do no harm to release it as a double disc with the original Album version on the second disc, as LaLa Land did with Batman. Just a thought.

Roger, can you tell us, how long the second release will be?!

Just shy of 45 minutes.

On this other release, I just played the disc. It's the first time I've heard this score outside of the film. The composer has done a stunning job of assembling this album. He took a classical approach and assembled the music into several long movements. He also recorded some new things to add into the program. Now it will probably drive the folks who want everything C&C bananas, but if those folks can open their hearts and minds and allow themselves to get absorbed in this musical journey, they'll be richly rewarded! Just a great album. It really showcases the artistry over the function of the music.

Ok... ok... I am sold.

I am all for the composer taking the classical approach and assembling the music into several long movements. Ace.

By the way things are going,
I'll bet by the end of this year, one of Roger's clues will be

"2 of 4"
