A Michael Small twofer! Firstborn is an interesting score with some heavy 80s flavor: driving synths, electric guitar and all if I remember correctly. There's also some good Small-esque thriller scoring and a cool little triumphant cue when Peter Weller gets his ass handed to him at the end.

I've never seen Child's Play, but it's from the era of Small's work that I like best. Hopefully the original elements survived for this one.

Big question of the day... will Cap 2 have any bonus cues over the download version?

What happened to Muppets Most Wanted/The Muppets? I was really looking forward to that. Hopefully, it's just slightly delayed.

If I'm not misstaken, THE RESCUE is a Touchstone title.
Hope Doug and the crew discovered Howard Shore's AN INNOCENT MAN in the box next to it in the Touchstone vault.

Yup. Shoot to Kill, Fire Birds, Can't Buy Me Love and Paradise are other Intrada releases of Touchstone productions. It, along with numerous other companies, falls under Disney anyway.

Kamen's Adventures in Babysitting and Thomas Newman's Deceived are other neat prospects if we look at just that one production company.

Wow, The Rescue. Between this and two things from LaLaLand (Lair and Stepford Wives) that's three 'virtual CDRs' I can delete and replace with proper releases. Yay.

A couple of changes because the mail room is still swamped from our last releases and I need to show some mercy. We're moving The Rescue to the 29th to be with the Muppets double header. Gets us back to our two every two weeks and won't overload the system. I know you guys get impatient when orders get backed up (and for those that refrain from sending an email asking where you order is, we greatly appreciate it!).

Well, at least it's still coming in April. Maybe this a good thing, the perfect opportunity to add additional tracks like Music only versions of the songs, etc.

Based on what was said, I'd venture to guess that the album is already produced and manufactured. The delay is apparently to accommodate a reasonable shipping schedule on Intrada's end.
