Those two westerns are mine! My first (& hopefully not last) Intrada buy this year.

LINK for the 80s maybe? :)

Actually, I will be more candid than I usually am. We have a license to re-issue LINK. Unfortunately, the elements are completely MIA.

That's fine, the missing music is nice but not vital. The used CD commands ridiculous prices, in the hundreds at times. I think you'd do well with a limited pressing. It has been out of print too long, and the score is loads of fun.

Please...new art if possible...new notes...please, release this one.

I absolutely love what Intrada has released, and I love the way they present their expanded and limited CDs.

Alien, for instance, is perhaps one of the best presented scores in my CD rack array.

*Breaking Link 3,15
*Alternate Link 0,48 (very Gremlins 2 sounding cue)
*Murder Link 1,18
*Body Link 1,52

"Bad Link" is certainly the highlight from the unreleased cues, it's one of the greatest moments in the score period. It's just nasty!

"Talking Link" and "Outside Link" are pretty awesome too. "Outside Link" is the cue which ends with Link looking through the letter box after Elizabeth Shue right? That cue ends with the same interval ideas as "The Body" from Criminal Law.

So yeah, a complete Link would be excellent! (I can't believe the masters are lost!!)

But a re-issue of the original album with better sound would be excellent too! :-)

what about
"*batteries not included "

i had prblems to get this score ever since it was released without luck.
but it seems it is not so fan-demanded and did not justify a 3000 release.
but as far as i remember a fine score.

Remember: it sold out quickly.

It's "Predator"

The next person who even briefly mentions "Die Hard" again -- despite the fact it DOES NOT fit the clues -- shall be wipped with a conducting stick.

"Hold on Stickman" LOL

Predator didn't sell out all that quickly, but it did sell out in a very reasonable amount of time. I believe it was about two months or so.

I might have to pick up this version like I did with RoboCop which was a fantastic release.

If you're going to reissue Link, USE the original artwork poster because it's really good and I don't see anything wrong with it.

As an owner of the VCL Predator and just after the re-re-release of Robocop and the re-re-re-release of Krull, I really didn't want to believe it was Predator, but all the clues point to it.

The first time I listened to Varese's version I recall noticing quite a lot of tape hiss. It's really noticeable in the trumpet solo. The insert says nothing about the source of the music, but it's clearly analog.

I've just played the end credits from the dvd and they are quite different from the track on the cd. In the movie they're about a minute longer. I can understand why Varese went with a shorter version since there is actually no new music; where the Varese version is about to end, the movie version just reprises the whole thing again. It's not twice as long because before each statement of the main theme the movie version only features half the bars with only the percussion.

Now only if there was a re-re-release of Young Sherlock Holmes...

Better sound? The Varese CD sounded superb!! In fact don't mess with it please. We don't need the volume ramped up anymore.

I've also listen to it and I don't see anyway that sound can be improved, it's perfect! Just reissue it.

If it is Predator, then count me in since I missed the Varese CD Club release. :D
